Sidney Alfred Charles Hall,
son of Sidney Robert Hall and Ada Ann Charlotte
Gomm.
Sidney was married to Mildred Violet Fordham.
Apparently he did not like Navy life
as he deserted and was jailed multiple times which
seems to have brought an early
end to his career. He enlisted on 14 August, 1911
and was discharged on 15 March, 1913.
He served on only two ships. The battleships
Formidable and Commonwealth.
However, when war broke out he enlisted in the
Army and stayed for the duration.
